Foundational Application of Social Engineering

We are the Global Leaders in Social Engineering Training

Our professional training courses are designed to be highly interactive, teaching the practical application of the attacker perspective in order to protect critical assets. Curriculum is focused on real-world scenarios that will prepare students to recognize how cybercriminals influence human behavior.

The training path we designed takes the student through the foundational concepts then into live target testing, with an optional deep dive into the psychology of the practice. All that leads into our certification and advanced classes to allow students to learn, try and master social engineering techniques.

Designed and written by Christopher Hadnagy (author of Social Engineering: The Science of Human Hacking and Unmasking the Social Engineer: The Human Side of Security) and the team at Social-Engineer, LLC, with contributions by Dr. Paul Ekman, Robin Dreeke, and Joe Navarro, Social-Engineer provides the first to market performance-based social engineering training courses available to the public.

In addition, our training courses provide the opportunity for you to practice your new skills on live real world targets.  You will also benefit from individualized feedback provided by our professional adversary simulators and social engineers.

Foundational Application of Social Engineering (FASE)

Previously titled Advanced Practical Social Engineering (APSE), the Foundational Application of Social Engineering training is a highly interactive 4-day course. This course combines practical lectures together with discussions. Additionally, it provides multiple hands-on exercises and demonstrations as well as especially creative homework assignments. The skills you develop and learn as a result of taking the course will equip you start you on the path to the Certified Ethical Social Engineer (CESE) certification.

Practical Application of Social Engineering (PASE)

Practical Application of Social Engineering (PASE) is a hands-on, 4-day course. Combining our Practical OSINT for Social Engineers and Social Engineering Risk Assessment classes into one comprehensive training, attendees learn how to strategically search, categorize, and organize information to inform decisions on building pretexts for real world social engineering attacks. This course also allows the students to perform vishing attacks and craft multiple phishing emails specific to their live real world targets. The skills you practice and learn as a result of taking the course will equip you with the skills to pass the Certified Ethical Social Engineer (CESE) certification test.

Certified Ethical Social Engineer (CESE)

Previously called the Social Engineering Pentest Professional (SEPP). Certified Ethical Social Engineer (CESE) is the only practical social engineering certification that proves you have mastered the science and practical side of SE. By using real humans in this certification, the students have to apply all the skills learned in Fundamental Application of Social Engineering (FASE) and Practical Application of Social Engineering (PASE) to walk away with this badge of honor. You can also attempt this certification directly if you feel you already possess the skills needed.

Masters Level Social Engineering (MLSE)

The Master’s Level Social Engineering Training Course is by invitation only. This five-day training is the only performance-based master’s level social engineering course available to the public. This as a training course for social engineers that involve interactions with unknowing participants to achieve the most realistic human to human communications available while leaving everyone involved better for having met us.

Psychology of Social Engineering (PSE)

The Psychology of Social Engineering (PSE) is a science-based, highly interactive 5-day course. Through the combination of lectures, group work, and practical activities, you will learn how to understand human decision making and influence information elicitation. You will also be taught the art of self-regulation and how to recognize when YOU are being influenced. You do not need a background in psychology to take this course as we will first introduce you to the basics of the human mind, brain, and behavior.

Red Team Labs (RTL)

This unique training opportunity is geared towards providing a safe practice space with a compelling storyline for your team to practice what is important to them in their day-to-day assignments. Think of this as a training lab for social engineers and other practitioners that involve interactions with unknowing participants to achieve the most realistic human to human communications available while leaving everyone involved better for having met us. Each lab will be customized to suit your team's needs and objectives for a week of intense practice.

Nonverbal Communication

In today’s digital world, most of our professional interactions are carried out virtually.
